FREE PARKING DOWNTOWN

The Downtown Hamilton Business Improvement Area urged the City of Hamilton to provide Free Parking in Downtown Hamilton. While budgets remained tight, City Council did approve the implementation of a Free Weekend Parking program for the Community Improvement Program Area. Orange coloured face plates at meters within the Downtown give Downtown guests 2 hours free at that meter between Friday night at 6 pm to Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. 



FREE PARKING AT CHRISTMAS DOWNTOWN

Council also gives the Downtown BIA free 2 hour parking at the meters one full month before Christmas (from November 24th to December 24th).
